It is stiffer than the original, making it ideal for shoes with flat bottoms where contouring is not necessary. Compatable with sneakers & dress shoes alike. Ideal for shoes without flat soles (i.e. Dress Shoes & High Heels). Pro-S is designed for outdoor use - the gritty sandpaper texture will be slippery on hard surfaces like tile. Instead, it is ideal for carpet, grass and pavement. Expect 2-4 wears depending on your walking environment. Remember: these are a sacrificial surface - which means it is a protective layer just like rubber gloves for your hands (they aren't meant to last forever!) It is a barrier between the sole and the pavement. If you want them for "daily wear" you will need end up replacing them quite often- maybe even daily depending on your mileage.
